TV GARDENER TAKES A STAND
Joe Swift, star of BBC TV’s Gardener’s World, is bringing his company, Modular Garden, to Show House 2006.
“We went to the show last year and spoke to both visitors and exhibitors who were all extremely positive about it, and we feel that it’s the perfect show for us to increase awareness of our product among housebuilders,” says Swift.
Modular Garden was formed in 2003. It offers housebuilders an integrated specification and build service at a guaranteed cost, with the customer having control over design.
“New housing is mostly sold with little or no landscaping, yet it tends to be one of the more difficult aspects for buyers to complete once a house is bought. Finding a solution that helps buyers with this issue must be an advantage for the housing developer.
“Modular Gardens is that solution. It is a professional service delivering high quality garden design and build that can be packaged with the sale of housing developments as additional benefit to customers who wish to have completed gardens. The sale of Modular Gardens though the marketing of housing developments will deliver a virtually overhead-free income stream to the developer,” says Swift.
